The Road
By Cormac McCarthy
In a post-apocalyptic world, the whole earth is scorched, nothing grows, and most of the human race is toast. They were the lucky ones. The survivors resort to cannibalism, and newborns are not exempt from the menu. This book is awful. Depressing.
